Perhaps we could use a Dashboard-like app for maemo?

Even though it sounds cliche, I think it comes down to what you want to use it for. I don't think that the Chumby's design would be very conducive to carrying in a pocket, but if all you want to do is have info delivered--one way--to when you're around the house then the Chumby would be fine. But, I understand, when you want something, you want it.

What I've done is delete all of my feeds and go through one by one finding the culprit. That seems to have incriminated the engadget feed as causing the problem. I guess it's the huge pictures... Can I flush the cash through the rss reader? Or do I have to do that from the terminal? Is there a way to write the rss data to an sd card? Thanks
